In this book "A Sense of Urgency" Don Bongaards presents the technology of energy in an interesting, provocative and entertaining way that is easy for the average non-technical person to understand. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested and concerned about the increasing prices of energy, and what can, and should, be done to solve the problem.

Title of review: Now is the time for action!
"In this nonfiction book, Don Bongaards brings to our attention the extreme importance of our nation becoming energy independent. Even though Don leans toward hydrogen as the energy source of the future, he also believes we should continue research on all of the other power sources that are available to us. Between these pages Don displays some wonderful ideas and has the background to back them up.
The author goes into a complete detailed account as to why he believes the future is in hydrogen. This book runs the gamut from the production of hydrogen to the delivery of the gas to the service stations.
If you care about the worlds energy problems, you will be extremely interested in reading this mans opinion on how to resolve them. My only wish is that our own political bodies cared as much!"
Stars: I give this book 5 stars

"A Sense of Urgency is a good read for anyone looking for solution to the gas problem. The book focuses on solving the transportation fuel crisis by using hydrogen as an alternative source. I like that the author focus on the bigger picture. Meaning, the gas crisis is more than just “lower gas prices” and then everything will go back to normal. The bigger picture is we have to deal with the generation of electricity, worldwide poverty, and global warming. This is a really good read and makes the reader aware of the problems in the world. "

"The world has always been our playground, or so we've been told from a rather young age....but how often do you think about tomorrow? I don't mean the day after today, I mean the tomorrow of future generations? Will the world as we know it be here in all its glory and splendor? Or will it only survive as a distant memory held in the hearts and minds of former youth..." More: ezinearticles.com
